Advocacy

We stay on top of the issues affecting the real estate industry and the rights of property owners.  Our staff and Vice President of Governmental Affairs works closely with local, state, and national leaders to make sure new and existing laws and ordinances do not adversely affect your business or private property rights. Throughout the year, we host legislative forums to keep our members informed on the important real estate trends and issues facing our industry on a local, state, and national level. 


Community Service

The East Metro Board of REALTORS® takes an active role in supporting the local communities. Our members actively participate in volunteer programs and events throughout the communities where we live and work. Each year EMBOR strives to make a difference by donating time and financial support in the communities where we live and work.


Education & Professional Development

The East Metro Board  of REALTORS® offers real estate professionals a full curriculum for real estate continuing education, and professional designation programs. Whether you are just starting a real estate career or are a seasoned professional in need of continuing education, EMBOR has much to offer! As a member benefit, any 3-hour CE course EMBOR offers is free to EMBOR members. 


Professional Standards

Enforcement of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics is a service offered to ensure the integrity of your fellow REALTORS® and a positive experience for your customers and clients. Additionally, EMBOR conducts mediation and arbitration services to assist in resolving alleged ethics complaints and monetary disputes through the Georgia REALTORS® Association. EMBOR offers annual educational courses in order for members to meet the NAR quadrennial training on the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.


Networking Opportunities

The Association provides many networking opportunities for members! Members can participate in activities such as General Membership meetings, holiday parties, a banquet and many other social events. One of the best benefits of being a member is having the opportunity to get to know your fellow REALTORS®.


Member Recognition

Each year, the Association recognizes members by presenting awards. In addition, the Association works hard to publish the names of those involved and/or attending events and meetings.


Sponsorship Opportunities

EMBOR offers many sponsorship opportunities to members in order to help build and enhance your business while improving REALTOR® programs and events.
